OpenSearch Visual Search support for Freebase

This Freebase Acre app is an OpenSearch search suggestion provider that shows suggestions such as you see on the right.

• While viewing this page in your browser, you should see the down arrow by your browser's search box glow.
• Click it, and then choose "Add search provider". You should enable search suggestions, but don't make it your default search unless you want to.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 and up has the most complete implementation of the standards required for this to work. It will work better with Firefox once Mozilla fixes this bug.

Once you've added the search provider, select it for a search, and you'll see results similar to below. Choosing one of the suggested pages will take you directly to it without the awful "[/page_id]" hack that Freebase's existing OpenSearch implementation employs. Pester Mozilla about the bug linked above if you want that hack to go away.
